Project Overview

AISVIP provided technical consultancy services to develop a standardized vocational education and training (TVET) curriculum aligned with national NTVET standards in Borno State. The project aimed to improve the quality, consistency, and relevance of vocational training delivery across institutions.

Through a participatory and inclusive process, AISVIP ensured that the developed curriculum responds to both industry needs and local labour market demands.

Our Approach

The project adopted a systems-strengthening approach focused on improving both curriculum content and teaching capacity to support long-term impact in the education sector.

Implementation Strategy

  • Conducting stakeholder consultations to ensure relevance and ownership
  • Designing competency-based vocational training curricula
  • Facilitating curriculum validation workshops with key stakeholders
  • Developing detailed Schemes of Work across multiple vocational trades
  • Training facilitators on modern teaching methodologies and competency-based instruction
