In collaboration with Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)
AISVIP implemented a climate-smart livelihood intervention targeting 250 vulnerable households across Borno and Yobe States. The project was designed to promote sustainable income generation while addressing environmental challenges through innovative, eco-friendly solutions.
Beneficiaries were trained to convert biodegradable waste into clean, energy-efficient briquettes, providing an alternative to traditional fuel sources and creating new livelihood opportunities.
The programme combined environmental sustainability with economic empowerment by equipping participants with practical skills and community-based production systems.
